As an international consultant, facilitator, coach, researcher-educator, and

partnering capabilities in and across the private, public, and civil society sectors.
Now in his eighties and as an elder, he devotes his voluntary work to co-creating
conditions for elders to explore how they can live a regenerative life and
collaborate with younger generations in transforming education. He is passionate
about integrating the inner and outer dimensions of change, both at the individual
and collective levels, to address our current interdependent crises. He believes
that cities and bioregions offer the most promising opportunities for building an
inclusive community of commitment, in service of the whole of life.
A graduate from HEC (Paris), Stanford University MBA, and former senior
consultant at McKinsey & Company, Alain founded Core Leadership
Development in Oakland, California. He has served a wide range of clients, from
start-ups, family businesses, and large international corporations to UN
Agencies, foundations, healthcare organizations, educational systems, global
and local NGOs. He collaborated with the Leadership Learning Community and
the Institute for Evolutionary Leadership in Oakland.

Francisco, and Paris. His most recent book was published as a Kindle book on
